Enfermeras / Nurses

Ayer tuve control con mi enfermera renal en el hospital. Ninguna novedad ya que las analíticas me las hacen al terminar la consulta y hasta que no reciba la carta por correo o por email no sabré si algo ha cambiado en mi función renal desde Agosto.
Le comenté que estábamos a la espera de mi tipaje y se sorprendió de que la doctora en Agosto no lo encontrase en mis papeles, me dio una fotocopia para llevar en Diciembre a la consulta, en caso de que la doctora vuelva a no poder encontrarlo... y me dijo que intentaría hablar con la doctora para ver la exactitud de la compatibilidad que tenemos mi marido y yo y si podía me lo comentaría en su informe.
La verdad es que me encanta mi enfermera, es siempre atenta, me conoce muy bien y sabe siempre cómo va todo y cuál es mi historia.
Nada que ver con la enfermera de mi médico de cabecera, que por no saber ni sabe mi apellido... y el caso es que supongo que es normal, la renal me ve cada mes practicamente y la del médico de cabecera de tanto en tanto.
Es lo bueno que tiene la seguridad social inglesa, que necesitas recetas... pues te vas a la farmacia, le dices los medicamentos que necesitas y ellos se acercan a la consulta y luego tú los recoges en la farmacia, sin una tener que pasar por consulta.
Y hoy he visto a la de cabecera de milagro ya que me llamaron ayer para decirme que me acercase a ponerme la vacuna de la gripe hoy.
Al que hace mucho que no veo es a mi doctor de cabecera...
En fin, cada pais tiene su historia. Yo de momento no me quejo y espero que los resultados de las analíticas de ayer sean buenos... ya veremos!!

I had my nurse appointment in the hospital yesterday. Nothing new since the test is done after the consultation so I won't find out if anything has changed until I get my results on the post or by email.
I told her that I has still waiting to find out about the tissue typing test to see the compatibility with my husband and she said it was strange my doctor couldn't find them last August since they were in my file. She gave me a copy to take with me in December just in case she can't find it the next time, I guess.
I must say I love my nurse, she is always up to date, knows me very well and knows what is going on.
Nothing similar to my GP nurse, she doesn't even know my family name hahaha
Is the good thing about English social NHS, even to get your prescriptions you don't need to go to the doctor, just pop up in your pharmacy, tell them what you are missing and they get the prescription from the doctor for you.
I went to my GP nurse today, they called me yesterday to let me know I needed to go by today to get my flujab.
And I was thinking it has been ages since I last saw my GP...
Well, what can I say,every country is different, and I can't complain. I just hope that the outcomes of my test are going to be good and things keep stable as up till now... we'll see...
