Bueno, pues hoy hemos recibido la esperada noticia:
Después de tres semanas esperando para saber el grupo sanguíneo de mi marido y saber si es un posible donante y si nuestras sangres "" se gustan" hoy hemos hablado con la coordinadora de trasplantes.
El resultado:
El tiene el mismo grupo sanguíneo que yo!
Y el cruce de sangres es negativo, lo que quiere decir que en caso de trasplante mi cuerpo no rechazaría su órgano y nuestras sangres "se gustan".
Nunca me ha tocado la lotería y como me ha dicho un amigo, si fuera creyente realmente diría que Dios ha hecho bien esta vez.
Yo sinceramente estoy estática, no me lo creo, y esto de estar en la oficina donde casi nadie lo sabe tampoco ayuda mucho... aquí todos me conocen como miss optimismo y siempre tengo una sonrisa, nunca me quejo, no tengo problemas y para ellos soy una mujer de 37 siempre alegre y feliz.
Ya decía mi padre que la procesión va por dentro.
Eso sí, la lotería me tocó el día que conocí a mi marido hace ya 18 años y no sólo por el hecho de que esté dispuesto a donarme un riñón sino por toda la vida junta que hemos tenido.
Seguimos paso a paso… pero hoy hemos dado un buen salto y estoy feliz!!


Today we found out the outcome of our blood test 3 weeks ago and the cross match test for the possible transplant from my husband to me.
What is cross match? Well, simply explained they take a sample of his blood and mix it with a sample of mine to see if they "like each other"
Cross match testing, which involves several different phases and, as many as 10 to 15 different tests,comes down to a fairly simple final result. Either the cross match is positive or negative. A positive cross match means that the recipient has responded to the donor and that the transplant should not be carried out. A negative cross match means that the recipient has not responded to the donor and therefore transplantation should be safe. A positive cross match (not what you want,) essentially says that the recipient will respond to the donor organ by rejecting it and the operation should not be performed. A negative cross match says to the recipient, you are not likely to reject the donor organ and the operation should be performed.
They told us he is the same blood group as me and also that the cross matching is Negative!!
I am really happy!!!
